Stuffed Tiger Insurance...

Well, here we are - 2016!

Made it through another bumpy year, but I'm more determined than ever to put some cartoons together. May this year be an amazing one for everyone!

All that being said, when I woke up today, an idea raced through my brain, of a couple familiar faces. It was 20 years and 2 days ago that one of my favorite childhood memories rode off on a toboggan, never to be seen again... 'Til now =)

Please enjoy a little snow-logged comic strip brought to you by a nostalgia trip!

Snow Gentlemen...

Snowmen like getting noticed every now and then too, ya know. I acutally had the rough draft for this back during the last snow in February, but I got sick, and wasn't fully recovered until after I stopped being busy with other things, and by then, there was no more snow... And wouldn'tcha know it? It snows on March 16th? What're odds?

So... still relevant. =)

Little Known Facts Of Music History

Last month was the 40th anniversary of when James Brown and his JBs got together to record "The Payback" an album which was initially supposed to be used as a soundtrack for a blaxploitation film. The film's producer thought the album wasn't "funky enough", one of the the tracks, "The Big Payback"  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IST6qRfVqwY has been sampled by countless hip-hop artists ever since, and can be regarded as perhaps the most badass funk song of all time.

Here's a little tribute to the song...

The Ballad of a Fallen Rider

The idea hit me as soon as I saw the interview the first night. Juuuuuuuuuust gittin' around to finishing this comic. God I can't wait to be doing this job full time finally 9__9;

I've been pretty nostalgic for Calvin and Hobbes lately after reading through the Complete Calvin and Hobbes collection I received from my brother Alan a few years back. That was the comic strip that started it all for me really. I have great memories of reading the treasuries in elementary school during recess and when I was sposed to be paying attention in class heheheheheh.

The Lance Armstrong scandal really made me raise an eyebrow o__รด recently. I think we all knew it was gonna happen.... I mean come on... 7? 9___9

In any event, I wonder how Calvin's dad woulda handled things. In addition to Calvin and Hobbes, I've also been pretty nostalgic for the days when sports weren't riddled with dishonesty and deceit. I'm terribly nostalgic for the days when sports heroes were charming, and you could actually look up to them.
